MScience has an extensive history of collaboration with Oceanica Consulting, having engaged in joint projects or seconded staff between the companies over many years. Oceanica’s intellectual base covers the area of temperate marine systems, especially seagrass or macroalgal dominated systems.  This complements our expertise in tropical marine systems, allowing us to joint venture for large and complex projects.

We have a close working relationship with Fastwave Communications and have together designed, deployed and managed instruments to provide real-time monitoring of water quality in remote locations. Through this interaction with Fastwave we can extend our specialist services to provide comprehensive monitoring and management of both the biological and physical characteristics of the marine environment.

EOMAP offers customized, large-area mapping based on satellite and airborne imagery for a variety of applications with a focus on aquatic remote sensing. EOMAP’s operational mapping services are applied in environmental monitoring and spatial exploration run by the offshore industry. In particular, they map coastal zones, inland waters, wetlands, and other areas where high-precision spatial information is required. MScience and EOMAP work together in areas using satellite imagery for mapping marine benthos and the calibration and use of MODIS for indicating a number of water quality parameters, including turbidity and chlorophyll content.
